Shrieking Skulls Will Shock Your Soul: Undead Update

Fri, 21 Oct 2011 22:34:57 GMT

I've been busy with the Undead the last few days, I think the build to Halloween has me in the spooky scary skeleton mood.

Chimera Chimera

An old monster model I've had half painted in a draw for years. Finally got it finished of and based up. It's destined for a game of Song of Blades sometime soon. Rules for it are in Song of Wind and Water.

My new Warband for Song of Blades and Heroes, The Scimitars of Shareef.

I need to add another couple of Skirmishers, then they're ready to go.

Song of Blades and Heroes Rules

On the subject of Song of Blades and Heroes, I've already got the main rulebook, Dave was going to pick up Song of Wind and Water (weather and terrain) and Song of Gold and Darkness (dungeon bashing, magic items and more magic) and I've ordered Song of Deeds and Glory (detailed campaigns with expanding territory) which means that in a few days we'll have a complete set of rules and be ready to get a rolling start to our campaign.

Another project that people seemed keen on for next year is Fantasy Skirmish, using Song of Blades and Heroes from Ganesha Games.

With a little rooting through draws and a spot of rebasing, I've come up with an Undead Warband.

It's low on numbers but I wanted to use as many of the Wraiths I've collected as possible. I've a whole army of the Undead from an early 90s edition of Warhammer (before Undead was split between Mummies and Vampires) so I've got plenty of monsters to add to the Warband as it grows.
