The Completed Paras Platoon

The completed Paras platoon, aka UNIT, aka Stargate Recce. Clicky the image for a bigger version.
With the final four infantry painted, that's a complete platoon of modern British light infantry, Platoon Commander, Sergeant and Radio man make up the Command Section, 3 Rifle Sections each of two four man fire teams and the Support Section with GPMGs.
They are missing the 51mm Mortar from the Support Section, but the only one I can find is in a pack with three other models I don't want, so I can always add that another day.

Team A from 3 Section now complete, only Team B to go and I have a completed platoon of Modern Paratroopers. Ready for modern adventures, Zombie Hunting, fighting the Daleks and UNIT or facing the Jaffa as Stargate Recce.

The final seven troopers are on the painting table now, so I should have the completed platoon soon.

Sad week for SGR-6, one of our Mission Specialists, Charlie, was KIA. While manning the .50 on the Land Rover, a staff weapon hit from a Jaffa killed her outright.
Even with the section medic on hand there was nothing that could be done.
As things stand, Aly is planning to roll up a new Technical Specialist character to join the team next week.

SGR6 updated, Aly leveled up. Dave is running again next week as it all got derailed and turned into a gun battle that just went on and on and on.

Stargate SGR-6 roleplay page updated with current character stats. It's Dave running this week while the Tok'ra remove Curly Bill's Goa'uld.
The Bloodbowl League table has been updated with all the current teams, match results and standings. Hopefully tonight we can sort out adding a few more teams to the league.

Games for Tuesday should be Stargate early and I'm not sure about the late slot as Jack won't be about.
Dave, if you want to run the late, I'll pick up the early game so you don't have to run twice. Unless you want to make both games go, if so, go for it.

The body of the weapon is a Creative Commons image of a civilian FN PS90, by ShakataGaNai, so cheers for that.
The barrel is from the FN 2008 catalogue.

Stargate Recce 6 page updated with basic attacks from everyone.
The Tau'ri weapons table is a little incomplete at the mo as I've got to check the licence on the details from the Ultramodern Firearms Guide before I posts stats from it.
Someone has borrowed the Guide at the mo, so I'll be able to clear that next week and either post the complete stats or not.

The final icons, after a few goes I decided to make the longarms icons double length, just looked clearer and had less dead space that way.
I still need to find a good photo of a LAW 80. Failing that I'll see about using a photo of one of my miniature LAWs.
Guns for the Stargate Reccee 6 page

I've been working on weapon icons for the Stargate Reccee 6 roleplay page, these are the work in progress images so far.
The SA80 are MP5 Public Domain images from Wikipedia. The Minimi and USP are from catalogues and the Walther P99 is Creative Commons and credit goes to Sirimiri.
The plan is to create a set of simple icons that can be added to the characters with their basic attack stats.
I need to check the licencing on the Ultramodern Firearms Guide, so see if I can post stats from there or not.

Updated the page for Stargate Recce 6, up to date stats for everyone. Also more tarting up with unit symbol, rank symbols and so on.
As this is supposed to be a British expedition, not a UN one, I've changed the symbol for Mission Specialists to the United Kingdom Coat of Arms.

Updated the page for our current Tuesday game, Stargate Recce 6.
Added national flags, the Tau'ri symbol as a regiment badge for civilians and updated all the character stats I could.
Crazy and Zak, I'll update your character stats when you bring your sheets back. :)
Dave and Zak, let me know who your home regiments are, the regiment you served with before joining the Stargate program and I'll add the badge for you.
Regiment Badges for the SGR Characters

Another new addition for SGR characters, as suggested I've added Regiment Badges for the Military types who have selected a home Regiment.
Anyone who hasn't yet (Zak/Dave), let me know who your character served with and I'll add a badge.
